Day 1: Blacksburg, Virgina

Virgina Tech: Objects that Kay had her first year students (coming to grad school in architecture, after non-architectural undergrad degrees) make.

Spent Saturday (Jan 31) morning in Kay's department (Virgina Tech, Architecture), brought back wonderful memories of architecture school. Tried to establish contact with Kota (Akshay Sharma) who went to SPA with moi. Wasn't able to connect, but saw the work going on in the Industrial Design department where he teaches. Really liked everything that we saw of the VT Architecture school.
